Terms
Not the final wording
This page is a placeholder. It sets out the sections a real agreement needs and describes what Cutyard does today, but it has not been drafted or reviewed by a lawyer and it is not a contract. Don’t rely on it. The real terms land before the product takes payments.
What the service is
Cutyard takes a long recording you give us a link to, finds moments worth publishing, cuts them to shape, and gives you the files. What we cannot do is guarantee that any particular moment is worth publishing. That judgement stays yours.
Your account
One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping the sign-in details to yourself.
Rights in what you bring
You keep everything you own. We need permission to process your source only so far as making your clips requires, and that permission ends when you delete the source. See Content rights for what you must be able to promise about a link before you paste it.
Credits and payment
A credit is spent when you download a piece, not when you process a source. Credits you have paid for do not expire. A cut that fails returns its credit automatically. Plan allowances and prices are shown on the pricing page and are the authoritative figures.
Refunds and cancellation
Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the credits you already hold intact. We are not going to make you email three times to cancel.
What we don't promise
Transcription mishears things, selection misses things, and third-party sources go down. Files are kept for a limited window and then swept, which the downloads page shows before it happens.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time, which removes your videos, your clips and your files. We can close an account that is being used to break the content rules.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects what you pay or what you get, we say so in the changelog rather than quietly editing this page.
